You keep telling us “Trust people when they tell you who they are. They know themselves better than you do.” Apparently, this only applies to men who say they’re women and children who’ve been made to feel they don’t belong in their own bodies, because you’re doing everything in your power to avoid listening to the voters who rejected you. Apparently, all you highly-educated, enlightened people know us better than we could ever know ourselves.
(I have a master’s degree and voted Dem for 30 years, by the way. You keep calling me “uneducated” and “far right” It’s weird. And symptomatic.)
The issue isn’t “trans rights” or “trans athletes” or “trans kids” - it’s what every single one of those phrases says about you. You’re liars. You’re gaslighters. You’re sanctimonious authoritarians. You’re the political party equivalent of Dolores Umbridge.
You’re also sexist, homophobic, and racist.
For years you’ve been pressuring us to vote for the “lesser of two evils.” For millions of voters, you’re no longer the lesser evil.
“How could you vote for a rapist?”
Well first of all, I didn’t. I stayed home. But also:
- How could you vote to put rapists in women’s prisons, rape shelters, homeless shelters and hospital wards? WTF happened to caring about “the most vulnerable?”
- How could you tell us we don’t need female-only bathrooms and changing rooms because men are just going to rape us anyway? That we’re most likely to be raped by men we know - and what, you’d like to level the playing field for men we don’t know?
- How could you tell women who are afraid of rape and sexual harassment/assault that they’re just pearl-clutching bigots "obsessed with other people’s genitals?"
- How could you think this would win you our votes?
“But it’s a fringe issue, and he’s going to end the world!”
OH RLY. All we wanted was the word “woman” codified to mean female people, the protection of female boundaries, and for you to stop telling kids they don’t belong in their own bodies. That’s it. To get our votes and thereby avert Armageddon. AND YOU WOULDN’T DO IT. Redefining women as ladybrains, destroying all our boundaries and medically brutalizing gender non-conforming kids affects more than half the population, and is putting millions of dollars in your party coffers. Fringe issue my ass.
“Why do you care about trans athletes? It’s such a small number!”
First and foremost, STOP SAYING "TRANS" WHEN YOU MEAN “MALE.” I MEAN IT. The issue is male people in female sports, and YOU KNOW IT.
Second, the real numbers are bigger than you think.
Third, for each male athlete you “include” in female sports, many more female athletes are harmed. They don’t just displace the woman or girl who should have had a chance to compete. Many more have to change in front of men, play against men (often risking catastrophic injury), and lose their medals, scholarships, prize money and records to men.
I call this exercise “misogynist math.” Just how many women and girls have to be hurt before we matter to you? Can we get a number?
“Why do you hate trans kids?”
I can think of very few things more hateful than telling children they don’t belong in their own bodies, they must be disguised as the opposite sex or else they’re doomed to kill themselves or be murdered, and anyone who tells them they are fine as they are secretly wants them dead. I can’t believe you’re telling kids that the new administration is coming to take them away and then posting skyrocketing suicide hotline calls as evidence of anything other than your heartbreaking mental health abuses.
You’re also blocking research showing how much your drive to medically brutalize children into facsimiles of the opposite sex damages them physically and mentally. This is the stuff of horror movies, truly. Conservatives never took conversion therapy so far as to put a little boy in line for penis removal because he wanted to play Barbies.
“What about women’s healthcare?”
I’m not even going to be able to delve into this fully right now, because the sheer gall it takes to spend years telling us that we can’t define women as female people because 1) having a word for the class of people who might ever get pregnant necessarily reduces us to livestock and 2) men get pregnant too, then turn around and code abortion rights as “women’s healthcare,” makes me so angry I’d happily just light a cigarette and watch the world burn.
By the way, if you give a shit about preventing unwanted pregnancies under the new regime, kindly tell all the woke bros to get vasectomies or else forgo recreational (heterosexual) sex for the foreseeable future. Walk the talk, as they say. Otherwise I can’t help but think your support for abortion rights has nothing to do with women’s liberation, only men’s ejaculation.
“What do you mean we’re sexist and homophobic?”
I mean we never consented to redefine women as ladybrains or men as Those Of Acceptably Masculine Souls, and that this new state religion of sexed brains and souls is just like the old religion of sexed brains and souls, just with added newspeak, syringes and scalpels.
I mean we’ve been through “inversion theory” before and gay people do not have selves metaphysically misplaced in the wrong bodies, they are not cosmic mistakes, they’re just gay.
I mean telling lesbians to do dick is rapey as hell.
I mean that defending all kinds of perversion because apparently, if homosexuality isn't a perversion, then nothing is, NTM asking "What could you possibly mean by 'normal gays'?" shows that you think gay people are all abnormal perverts, but hey, you're OK with that.
“What do you mean we’re racist?”
I mean if you don’t stop comparing black women to men I swear to god I’m going to lose it.
I also mean that you honestly seem to think minorities cannot succeed without lower standards.
I mean you use DEI to hire and promote minorities who toe and tout the party line, then when they fail you blame racism, rather than the party line. I mean you use DEI to hire and promote unqualified people - when there are plenty of qualified people of minority races and ethnicities out there - because you want people you can control. And you don’t care how this makes minorities look incompetent, as long as you get to check the boxes that make you feel like you’re a Good Person.
And I mean that as soon as minorities step out of line and vote in a way you don't like, you show your true colors.
(By the way, you’re also classist, ageist and ableist! But I’ll get to all that on another day.)

- The issue isn’t “trans rights.” It’s that you’re so sexist and homophobic you have to hallucinate some people are the opposite sex in order to tolerate their existence; you’re so totalitarian that you think you have the right to force everyone else to pretend; and you’re so puritanical you cast out anyone who objects and label them terrible subhuman bigots. Men aren’t women, and people who know men aren’t women aren’t bad people, you’re just nuts.
- Your determination to destroy women’s boundaries means your positions on rape and reproductive health are face-meltingly hypocritical;
- You’re so arrogant you can’t even comprehend how racist you are;
- You’re so obsessed with looking cool and feeling superior that you cannot listen to others nor can you ever tell the truth in plain, direct language. Your buzzword salad is never evidence of your education, only your indoctrination, and your “be kind” platitudes are thinly veiled instructions to submit. Just because the flag you’ve wrapped around yourself has a rainbow on it doesn’t mean you’re not behaving like a petty dictator.
- All of the hate and fear you project onto others is your own hate and fear. Poor rural whites are not the problem. TERFs are not the problem. Gays and minorities who won’t do your bidding are not the problem. You are the problem. You can reflect and change, or you can keep losing elections.
